Go beyond singing the mantra and experience the Shabad.
Many of us have chanted these mantras for years. We know the melodies. We recognise the words. We may even share them in our classes.
But what happens when we go deeper into the sound itself?
When we understand how the tongue forms the words. How pronunciation and rhythm shape the Naad. What we are actually reciting. And when we begin to understand Shabad Guru as a living teacher.
In this four-week training, Satkirin Kaur Khalsa shares the experience of many decades of chanting, Aquarian Sadhana, sacred music and teaching.
Together with Rupinder Kaur, you will explore Naad and Shabad Guru, the stories and meaning behind the Shabads, Gurmukhi, pronunciation, rhythm and voice, deepening your own practice and learning how to share these teachings with greater precision and confidence.

Mantra, Naad Yoga & the Living Practice of Sacred Sound
For many decades, mantra and sacred music have been at the centre of Satkirin Kaur Khalsa’s life and spiritual practice.
Her work is rooted in Naad Yoga — the ancient practice of working with sound, vibration and the human voice — and in the Sikh tradition of Shabad Guru.
Mantra is not simply music, nor only a technique to create a certain state of mind. It is a living relationship with sound.
When we chant, we work with something very precise: breath, rhythm, pronunciation, listening, repetition and the vibration of our own voice. But the deeper practice begins when we stop trying to make something happen and learn to listen.
In Shabad Guru, sound itself becomes the teacher.
A mantra may remain the same for hundreds of years. We are the ones who meet it differently each time. Through practice, something becomes quieter. Something opens. We begin to hear beneath the noise of the mind and recognise a deeper intelligence within ourselves.
Naad Academy grew from Satkirin’s lifetime of chanting, teaching, recording sacred music and practising Aquarian Sadhana.
It is a place to enter and deepen the practice of mantra and Naad Yoga — whether you are meeting mantra for the first time or have been chanting for many years — and to discover what happens when sacred sound is not only something you sing, but something you allow yourself to be shaped by.
There is no single way to enter the world of Naad. You may want to begin with one mantra and experience what a daily practice can do. You may long to chant with others, explore the music, or be ready for a much deeper commitment.

I have been chanting the sacred mantras of Kundalini Yoga for many decades, and I am still learning from them.
Because we do not master the Shabad. We come back to it. We pronounce it. We listen. We chant. And we allow the sound current to do its work.
Through Sikh Dharma, Aquarian Sadhana, sacred music and a lifetime of teaching, I have experienced again and again the quantum technology of Naad: sound knows the way.
This is what I want to preserve and pass on. Not only the mantras, but the precision, devotion and experience that keep the Shabad alive.
Naad Academy is my way of sharing what has been given to me, so a new generation can experience it and carry it forward.
I am not the teacher. The Guru is the Shabad.
We Practise Together.
The Shabad is the Guru, but we do not walk the path alone. Sangat is the company of those who come together in consciousness. We chant together, listen together and learn from one another. Every voice is different. Every person brings another experience of the same Shabad. This is part of the teaching. For me, Sangat has always been essential. From Aquarian Sadhana in the early morning to chanting together in a room filled with hundreds of voices — something happens when we create the sound current together. Naad Academy is also a place for this. Come as you are. Bring your voice. Join the Sangat.
